19-year-old indicted in Lake Charles slaying KATC Lafayette News (AP) - A 19-year-old man suspected in a June shooting death at a Lake Charles apartment complex has been indicted on a charge of second-degree murder. Authorities charged Cody Ray Lucero in the June 8 slaying of 18-year-old Edward Lee Wilkes.
